Provision of infrastructure data with the tool SAT.engine Realization of several projects for the recording of infrastructure data with the tool SAT.engine. Measurements were successfully performed in Austria, Belgium, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam. The system returns a summary of the exact lengths of route sections in table form (these are of relevance for planning (especially ETCS) as well as video recordings of the navigated route. Geographical site plans can also be provided on request and/or the evaluation of additional infrastructure data. Period: 2007-2010 |

Recording of infrastructure data with SAT.engine in Belgium Determination of route-related distances between signaling route elements for planning ETCS on the relevant routes of the Belgian railway network. For this purpose, the tool SAT.engine was installed on a railway traction vehicle and a GPS/GNSS measurement performed with synchronized video recording. Siemens received an extensive data package with topological route plans, element data set, gradient data set and video data set. So far, approx. 300 km of dual-track route with approx. 3000 infrastructure elements were recorded. Period: 2008-present |

Provision of ETCS planning data with the SAT.engine method 350 km of the dual-track main route of the "Westbahn" (Donau axis Vienna – Salzburg) were measured with SAT.engine, a method based on dynamic GPS measuring. AS a result, the ÖBB Infrastruktur Betrieb AG received the exact lengths of route sections in table form (of relevance for ETCS planning) as well as video recordings of the navigated route. Period: 2006-2007 |

KEY.connect Austria In the course of the introduction of ETCS level 2 at ÖBB, a tool for key management is also required. The key management center "KEY.connect" was developed in a joint project with participation of ÖBB Infrastruktur AG, Scope Consulting GmbH and ISV mbH. Period: 2009-2010 |
